Hello! I am a Calgary-based designer and creative with a passion for illustration and art. Since graduating with a Bachelor's degree from The Alberta College of Art and Design's (Alberta University of the Arts) Visual Communications and Design program, I have worked with many notable local and international brands. I have designed various collateral for shopper marketing, print, digital and web. Some of these brands include Coca-Cola, Kraft Heinz, Keurig, Danone, Activia, International Delight, Jayman BUILT, McCafé, Mark's, and Sport Chek.
I have a multi-disciplined background including art directing lifestyle-focused photoshoots, designing internal and external promotional materials for special events, product innovations, in-store POS materials, as well as final art production and illustration.
In addition to having sold and exhibited paintings and illustrations, my work in both design and art has won awards and received recognition locally and in national publications. In recent years, I expanded my creative career pursuits into writing through a monthly column for COLORED PENCIL Magazine and co-hosting on the Sharpened Artist | Colored Pencil Podcast both based in the United States. A curated selection of my articles from COLORED PENCIL Magazine was published into a book in late 2019.
I'm currently accepting freelance projects on a part-time basis.
